Volunteer
a person who does something,
esp. helps other people, willingly and without being forced or paid to do it
That definition pretty much sums up what the music boosters is all about.
We live and die on the quality and quantity of our volunteers - and we have
some of the best people in the community helping us. We are always
looking for more people to help out with all of our efforts.
Special skills or talents are not a requirement for volunteering. What is
required is a willingness to work hard. Our goal is to get parents of
students from all of the musical groups at PV.
We always have upcoming events that require extra people. Check out the
weekly bulletin for more information. You can also come out to our
monthly meetings. They are also listed in the weekly
bulletin.

Act 34 and 151
The Perkiomen School District has requested that all volunteers obtain a
criminal background check (Act 34) and a Child Abuse History Clearance (Act
151). Information about these acts can be found at the PA Dept of
Education Web site.
